GTA 6 on PS5: It’s Set to Be Around 210 GB

TVS News AI redaktionell betreut präsentiert GTA 6 auf PS5: Rund 210 GByte sollen es werden.

Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to require around 210 GB of storage space on PlayStation 5. This comes from a report by Golem and EarlyGame. Anyone looking to buy the digital version will therefore need to check how much space is left on their hard drive beforehand.

Why the 210 GB Matters to You

The stated size is no minor detail buried in the fine print: with many digital game purchases, the installation also takes up storage space. At 210 GB, you should therefore check how much space your PS5 currently has free before buying.

The report also names the PS5 as the target platform. The available source does not specify which edition the exact figure applies to or whether additional versions will be released later.

What Is Not Yet Known About the File Size

For now, only the expected scale of around 210 GB on PS5 has been reported. Beyond that, Rockstar does not provide a confirmed storage requirement in the available report. The figure is therefore primarily a planning guide, not final proof for every version of the game released later.

Practically, this means: if your hard drive is already nearly full, you should free up some space before the digital version launches or check whether a physical edition would suit you better. That way, you can avoid the game failing to launch because of insufficient capacity.
