Apple has officially confirmed the date for its next hardware event: On October 13, the Cupertino-based company will take the stage under the motto "Welcome Home" to unveil new products. The name already sets the direction – but beyond that, Apple is letting nothing slip ahead of the keynote.
The confirmation is picked up by the Spanish business newspaper CincoDías. According to the report, "new products from the brand that, as far as is known, have a lot to do with the home" are coming. Specific devices, prices, or a delivery date remain absent from the announcement so far.
What's behind the "Welcome Home" motto
The title sets a clear focus: home electronics. What exactly Apple means by this, the preview deliberately leaves open. The phrasing "a lot to do with the home" covers a broad range – from smart speakers and set-top boxes to HomeKit extensions. None of this has been officially confirmed yet.
