Beats 360 unveiled: Over-ear headphones with ANC and swappable cushions

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Beats 360 unveiled: Over-ear headphones with ANC and swappable cushions.

Beats is bringing a new over-ear headphone to market: the Beats 360. The model relies on active noise cancellation (ANC) and sets itself apart from many competitors with a modular design.

What's special about the Beats 360: instead of a fixed look, you can swap out the ear and headband cushions. This lets you match the headphone's look to your personal style – an approach that's been rather rare among over-ears so far.

The housing is also weatherproof. That makes the headphones suitable for use on the go, without a few raindrops immediately becoming a problem.

What is the Beats 360?

Based on the information available so far, this is a classic over-ear headphone with ANC functionality. The model is aimed at anyone who wants quiet on the go, in the home office, or while traveling – with the signature sound of the Beats brand.

Swappable cushions and weather protection as a concept

The interchangeable cushions are at the heart of the Beats 360. You can adjust the headphone's color scheme or replace the cushions as they wear out over time – both are rather the exception with classic over-ears.

The weather resistance rounds out the package. That makes the Beats 360 not just a listener for home, but also a companion for on the go – from the commute to outdoor sports.

What remains open

Exactly which chips, driver sizes, or battery life are built in isn't clear from the information available so far. Reporting to date has also been silent on price, exact launch date, and the available colors of the swappable cushions.

As soon as Beats or retailers publish further details, you'll find an update here.
