GTA 6: Did you see Jason's penis? IGN clears it up

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents GTA 6: Did you see Jason's penis? IGN clears it up.

"I did not see Jason's penis." With that single line, Rachel Weber, Head of Editorial Development at IGN, on October 8, 2026, put to rest a topic that was boiling over on the internet — and is being mocked accordingly.

How the rumor even started

The trigger was IGN's big interview with Rockstar North about Grand Theft Auto 6. Weber mentioned a scene in which protagonist Jason Duval stands naked in the shower. In some corners of the net, that was apparently enough to conclude she had gotten a full view of Jason's anatomy — including everything below.

Weber clarifies what was actually seen in the demo. And above all, what was not.

For the sake of journalistic accuracy, I feel compelled to clarify: I did not see Jason's penis. Yes, Jason was naked. Yes, he was in the shower. But thanks to some carefully positioned camera angles, his modesty remained entirely intact.

Whether Rockstar rendered anything below Jason's belt or not remains as much a mystery to her as to everyone else, Weber writes. And she gets ironic: "And trust me, if I had seen it, you would have gotten more than a single sentence."

What the age rating reveals

The leaked European PEGI rating puts it this way: "There are also strong sexual themes, including nudity, scenes of intercourse and occasional scenes of sexual fetishes." In nightclubs, the player can pay for Private Dances, during which the game moves hands onto the dancers' breasts and buttocks. The PEGI rating, however, does not explicitly confirm full nudity in the classical sense.

How the predecessors did it

Jason would not be the first GTA character with rendered intimate details. Grand Theft Auto 5 showed Trevor half-concealed in a cutscene — his "crown jewels," as Weber puts it. Anyone exploring the mountains around Los Santos in GTA 5 also stumbled upon the Altruist Cult, which has several completely naked members in its ranks.

The leak that won't stop

Alongside the officially accessible material, footage from a "naughty leakers" is circulating. When these recordings were made, which content remains exclusive to developer builds, and what ultimately lands in the finished game — nobody currently knows for sure.
