AI MODIFIEDTVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Jinko Gotoh Follows Marge Dean as WIA President.
At the global nonprofit organization Women in Animation (WIA), leadership is changing hands: Oscar-nominated producer Jinko Gotoh takes over the presidency. She follows Marge Dean, who leads the Skybound Animation Studio and ends her term as president this month after 13 years.
What WIA Does
WIA advocates for women, non-binary, and underrepresented talent in the fields of animation, VFX, and gaming. Gotoh had previously served as Vice President alongside Dean within the organization — so she already knows WIA from the second row, before now moving to the very top.
