TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Jump Festa 2027: Shonen Jump Shows New Hero Gathering – But This Legendary Hero Is Completely Missing.

Excitement for Jump Festa 2027 is building – and Shonen Jump is stoking the flames with a new promo image. According to Gamepro, the artwork brings together numerous legendary and important protagonists from various of the publisher's manga series.

The image is intended as a kickoff for the festivities surrounding Jump Festa 2027, the major manga event hosted by Shueisha. But instead of sparking pure excitement, the artwork has already given fans something to talk about – because, according to Gamepro, one legendary Shonen Jump hero has been completely left out.

What does the new image for Jump Festa 2027 show?

According to Gamepro, the released image brings together key protagonists from the Shonen Jump portfolio. It is intended as a visual announcement for the upcoming Jump Festa 2027 and is meant to represent the breadth of the publisher's ongoing and completed series.

The artwork thus unites different generations of heroes on one stage – a promise to the community of what they can expect at the event itself. But it's precisely this lineup that set the ball rolling.

Which legendary hero is missing from the image?

That is exactly the question currently on fans' minds. Gamepro writes that it immediately struck the community that one legendary figure from the Shonen Jump universe does not appear in the new image – even though they are practically inseparable from the publisher's history.

Which specific hero is meant does not become clear from the available Gamepro report. However, the discussion is already running at full speed in the comments and on social media.

What does this mean for Jump Festa 2027?

Even though the missing legend is currently occupying the community, Jump Festa 2027 remains the highlight on many manga fans' calendars. The event is the publisher's central stage, where new releases, announcements, and anniversaries are celebrated.

The fact that precisely a legendary hero is missing from the promo image could be a coincidence – or a deliberate move to fuel speculation. Gamepro does not provide a definitive explanation. We'll stay on it for you and update as soon as it's clear which figure is missing and whether the event itself provides an answer.
