Mister Miracle: DC Studios Confirms Lead Voices for Scott Free and Big Barda

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Mister Miracle: DC Studios Confirms Lead Voices for Scott Free and Big Barda.

DC Studios is currently building an animated series around Mister Miracle — and now the main characters appear to be set.

According to IGN, Peter Safran, Co-CEO of DC Studios, has revealed the lead voices of the upcoming series. At the center are Scott Free, the man behind the superhero alias Mister Miracle, and Big Barda, his partner from the comics.

What this means for you: If you're into Jack Kirby's "Fourth World" cosmos, a dedicated animated adaptation just moved one step closer. Scott Free and Big Barda are the most iconic couple in that mythology — with plenty of depth for a series that goes beyond classic superhero action.

What's been confirmed about the Mister Miracle series so far

The main details have been thin on the ground so far — Safran's confirmation of the lead voices is one of the few concrete anchors. What's confirmed: It's an animated series (not live-action), it hails from DC Studios, and Scott Free and Big Barda are the locked-in lead characters.

Scott Free brings one of the most unusual origin stories in the DC universe with him: trained as a child by Darkseid on Apokolips as an escape performer, he later fights alongside the "New Gods." Big Barda, former elite warrior of his home world and his partner, complements the pair perfectly — both come from the "Fourth World" universe that DC built out in the seventies.

What's still missing — and why you should keep an eye on the original article

The IGN report names the confirmation of the lead voices but leaves key questions open from the available source: which voice actors are lending their voices to Scott Free and Big Barda cannot be derived from the available snippet — any name would be speculation. The premiere date, episode count, and platform also remain open for now.

What you can do: If the casting specifically interests you, it's worth taking a look at the original article at IGN. As soon as DC follows up with a more detailed reveal, you'll find the details there first — and with us as soon as we can properly verify them.
