A Brazilian woman who worked as a model was found lifeless in her ex-boyfriend's car in southern France. Police arrested the 29-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder – the exact circumstances remain unclear.

According to Stern Panorama, this is a shocking discovery on a motorway in France. The model's body was reportedly found in the vehicle of her former partner. Authorities have so far released no details on the cause of death or a possible sequence of events. Investigators have also not yet named the victim's identity.

What is known about the case so far

So far, it is only confirmed that the victim was a Brazilian citizen who worked as a model – and that her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend was arrested in direct connection with the discovery of the body. ZEIT covers the case under the same headline as Stern Panorama, but provides no further details beyond the teaser.

Because the investigation is being conducted as a homicide case, the public prosecutor's office and criminal police will typically only release further information after a forensic medical examination and initial witness interviews. Until then, the 29-year-old is considered a suspect, not a convicted perpetrator.
