Zverev vs. de Minaur live today: Where to watch the Shanghai quarterfinal on TV?

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Zverev vs. de Minaur live today: Where to watch the Shanghai quarterfinal on TV.

It's the duel of the top-seeded title hunter against the Shanghai specialist on a run: Alexander Zverev takes on Alex de Minaur in the quarterfinal of the Rolex Shanghai Masters (ATP Masters 1000). The match is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026 – there is no confirmed start time yet, but according to the bookmakers it shouldn't begin before 12 PM German time.

The problem for all tennis fans in this country: there is no free-TV broadcast. Anyone who wants to watch the match live has to fall back on paid offers.

Why the quarterfinal is explosive

Zverev enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed and sits at No. 2 in the live ranking. With this form, he is one of the contenders to jump to the top of the world rankings. de Minaur is seeded No. 9 and occupies No. 8 in the live ranking. So it's a duel between two top-10 players – and at the same time the Hamburg native's attempt to finally get past the Australian, who has already stood in his way twice this season in Shanghai.

Where to watch Zverev vs. de Minaur live on TV and stream?

The live broadcast in Germany runs on Sky – specifically on the Sky channels that carry ATP tennis. Anyone without a classic Sky subscription can follow the match via stream on WOW (with the Mittelseinzel-Sky Ticket). On ran.de (Joyn) there is also a live ticker covering the action.

You'll search in vain for a free-TV alternative or a freely accessible stream. Anyone who wants to watch the match can't avoid a paid subscription. Many providers are currently luring customers with trial months, however, with which you can pick up the match cheaply.

What do form and head-to-head say?

At first glance, the form speaks for Zverev: nine wins from his last ten matches, while de Minaur stands at seven from ten. But the record in Shanghai this season is clearly tilted against the 29-year-old: According to TennisTemple, de Minaur has won both meetings against Zverev in Shanghai this year. That is the backdrop against which the quarterfinal becomes particularly exciting – and why the comparison between the two can serve as an unofficial mood test for Zverev's form.
