Apple Packs AI Siri into the New Apple TV 4K – and Hikes the Price

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Apple Packs AI Siri into the New Apple TV 4K – and Hikes the Price.

Apple announced a new generation of the Apple TV 4K on Tuesday. This emerges from a teaser by heise online titled "Apple stellt neues Apple TV 4K vor – mit SIri AI" (Apple unveils new Apple TV 4K – with Siri AI). At first glance, little changes for you: the hardware "looks the same as before," as heise online writes. The interior, however, has been "completely renewed" – and the new model is "more expensive."

What can be determined from the teaser so far

Three statements can be reliably derived from the brief heise preview: the box was presented on Tuesday, it remains identical on the outside, it has been rebuilt on the inside – and it costs more than its predecessor. Everything beyond these three points – new chip, official price, sales launch, specific AI features in tvOS – is not mentioned in the teaser.

The parallel web search on the keyword "Apple TV 4K" yielded only general Apple landing pages such as apple.com/de and Wikipedia entries about the company, but no official Apple press release with prices, specifications, or delivery dates. It can therefore be assumed that the full announcement with technical details will follow in the coming hours or days.

What this means for you

If you're currently considering buying an Apple TV 4K, it's worth a quick look back: as soon as Apple officially lists the new model in its store, prices for remaining stock of the predecessor typically drop. If, on the other hand, you want to know right now whether the AI update is worth the premium, you'll have to wait until the full announcement – the teaser deliberately leaves open the decisive answers about processor, AI features, and value for money.
