Mina the Hollower: $19.99 – and More Shovel Knight

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Mina the Hollower: $19.99 – and More Shovel Knight.

$19.99, two consoles and a release that had previously been postponed indefinitely: After a long wait, Mina the Hollower has finally become a concrete launch. According to Nintenderos, the game is now available for Nintendo Switch 2* and PlayStation 5*.

This is especially interesting if you already had Mina the Hollower on your wish list or are interested in the development of the studio behind Shovel Knight. The game took an unusual path before its launch finally became possible.

Yacht Club Games is also using the date to provide an outlook: Shovel Knight is far from over. Although recent reports have focused mainly on Mina the Hollower, the studio apparently still sees considerable potential for additional content and projects surrounding its well-known games. We therefore explain what is already certain and what the current report specifically adds.

Mina the Hollower Is Now Available for $19.99

The key headline

The decisive point is its actual availability: According to Nintenderos, Mina the Hollower can now be purchased for $19.99 on Nintendo Switch 2* and PlayStation 5*. This is no longer merely an announcement but a game with a confirmed platform and a stated price.

The route to that point was not straightforward. A version for Nintendo Switch 2* had already been officially confirmed several months earlier. The launch was subsequently postponed indefinitely. Following that delay, the game is now available. It is precisely this combination that makes the report interesting: An officially confirmed release that was initially postponed again has now become an available title.

For your decision, that means you no longer have to wait for an unknown launch date further down the line. The price cited by Nintenderos is $19.99, and the consoles have been confirmed. The information currently available does not indicate what other editions or variants may exist.

Yacht Club Games Confirms: There Is Still a Lot to Come for Shovel Knight

More Shovel Knight – Not Just the Current Release

In connection with Mina the Hollower, Yacht Club Games confirms that there is still a lot of Shovel Knight to discover. The studio is placing the current launch in a broader context. The release of Mina the Hollower is a concrete occasion, but it is not the only issue occupying the studio's attention.

The wording deliberately remains open-ended. It names no specific successor, release date or new game format. The only certainty is that the studio continues to see opportunities for more Shovel Knight content. Anyone already familiar with the franchise therefore receives clear confirmation that what is visible is not supposed to be the end of the story.

For fans, this does not mean you should immediately expect additional projects. But it also means the focus should not be limited solely to the $19.99 release of Mina the Hollower. The report connects a tangible launch with the statement that the studio continues to work on the future of Shovel Knight or at least sees further potential in it.

What the News Means for Buyers and Fans

Available, priced and unusually timed

For buyers, the situation is clearer than with many previously delayed games: Mina the Hollower is now available for Nintendo Switch 2* and PlayStation 5* at a stated price of $19.99. Following the previously indefinite delay, the release is not just announced but has actually taken place.

For anyone interested in Yacht Club Games, the report also provides a direction: The studio is thinking beyond the current scope of Shovel Knight. The reporting available here does not name any specific projects or dates. You therefore receive solid confirmation of the studio's continued commitment, but no reason to bet on projects that have yet to be named.

The clearest takeaway is therefore the current status: Mina the Hollower is available for $19.99 following the delay, while Yacht Club Games confirms further possibilities surrounding Shovel Knight. The report does not promise more details on either subject – but it delivers an actual release and a reliable outlook.

Good luck with your next gaming decision.
