Off Campus Season 2: Prime Video Says April, but the Year Remains Unclear

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Off Campus Season 2: Prime Video Says April, but the Year Remains Unclear.

April is the announced premiere month, according to Prime Video for the second season of Off Campus. The Hollywood Reporter connects the college ice hockey romance with Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn. For fans, this means a new season has been officially announced, even though the available reports do not yet identify a definitive calendar date.

The announcement concerns the second season of the Prime Video series. Just Jared also reports that an official premiere date was announced, adding that the cast, logline and further information were revealed. However, the available source excerpts do not go into detail about the content of these additional announcements.

Fans who want to keep track of the second season can already pencil in April. When it comes to planning around the exact premiere date, however, caution is warranted: One source cites April, while the other merely says “next year” and its excerpt gives neither a definitive year nor a specific date.

What Prime Video Has Confirmed for Season 2

The premiere month

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Prime Video has announced April as the premiere month for Off Campus. The named premiere month is therefore set: The new season will arrive in spring. The report names the two known lead actors, Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn, and describes the production as a college ice hockey romance.

This already provides an initial point of reference. However, April 2026 would be too specific, as that year is not reliably established in the excerpts used here. The report likewise does not include the date on which Prime Video intends to release the season.

The report is therefore reliable at the month and season level. Fans who are already planning their viewing schedules can nevertheless treat April as an important reference point.

The April Premiere Is Set, but the Year Remains the Open Question

Two sources, different details

Just Jared also reports that Prime Video has announced an official premiere date for the second season. Its excerpt, however, states that the season will premiere “next year.” Neither a definitive calendar date nor a specific year can be inferred from this.

The reports complement one another without fully matching: The Hollywood Reporter provides the month of April, while Just Jared confirms an official premiere date and points to next year. It is impossible to determine with certainty from the excerpts whether both statements refer to the same April date.

The wording therefore remains deliberately cautious: An April premiere has been announced, so there is no need to add the exact date to your calendar just yet.

Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn Shape the Announced Season

The known cast

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn are at the center of the announced second season. Both are mentioned in connection with the Prime Video production and its college ice hockey setting. The available excerpts do not list any other roles or casting details.

Just Jared summarizes the announcement by saying that, in addition to the premiere month, the cast, logline and further information were revealed. It is therefore clear that the official announcement contains more than just the April premiere month. However, the material provided does not reveal what storyline the logline promises or what other characters or production details were presented.

Cast, Logline and More Have Been Announced, but Not Fully Confirmed

What fans know so far

The news does not come as a major surprise. The key new detail is the April premiere for Season 2. This is accompanied by confirmation that Abdalla and Kalyn are again at the center, as well as a logline whose wording is missing from the accessible excerpts.

Those checking the date should therefore also consult both entertainment magazines. According to the available reports, Prime Video has set the premiere month. Once Prime Video provides a more precise date with the year and day, the gap between the sources will have been closed.

Until then, the situation is simple: Season 2 is confirmed, the premiere month is April, and the exact date is not yet known. That is enough to keep an eye on the spring schedule. For dates surrounding a streaming event or the series premiere, it remains worthwhile to wait until Prime Video closes the gap.

Why This Matters for You

The two reports bring the relevant facts together directly: The Hollywood Reporter on the April premiere and Just Jared on the cast, logline and premiere announcement. This keeps the month on your radar while also showing which details have not yet been conclusively settled.

Good luck with your planning—and until Prime Video confirms the more precise premiere date, April is your first point of reference for Off Campus.
