TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie: Netflix Plans Action Thriller “Dogfight”.

Jason Statham is reuniting with Guy Ritchie for Netflix: In “Dogfight,” the “Transporter” star takes the lead role, while Ritchie writes and directs the film. This should be of particular interest to fans of the pair’s previous collaborations – as well as anyone who wants to know whether the London underworld setting delivers action with style once again. Nothing more is known so far.

Seventh Collaboration in the Works

According to Variety, the partnership between Statham and Ritchie is expanding to a total of seven films together. The Hollywood Reporter also confirms the new project for Netflix.

Netflix describes “Dogfight” as a stylish action film set in London’s criminal underworld. No further details about the plot itself have been released so far. For now, only one thing is certain: Statham is starring, Ritchie is directing, and the film is being developed for the streaming service.

Direction, Production and Confirmed Names

According to Deadline, Guy Ritchie is writing, directing and producing the film alongside Jason Statham. The named production companies are Black Bear, Toff Guy Films and Punch Palace.

The focus is therefore clearly on the duo: Ritchie brings his cinematic action style, while Statham brings his physically demanding style of acting. The precise subject matter, supporting characters and film’s runtime remain unknown.

Filming Is Due to Begin in 2027

Production of “Dogfight” is planned for early 2027. According to Deadline, filming is due to take place in the United Kingdom. This means that at least the start of the project is confirmed – a release date, specific shooting days and a release date have not yet been announced.
