NBA in Mexico City 2026: Game 35 – Nuggets vs. Pacers

TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents NBA in Mexico City 2026: Game 35 – Nuggets vs. Pacers.

Saturday will be a special NBA date in Mexico City: The Nuggets face the Pacers there. According to The Athletic, it will be the 35th NBA game played in Mexico. The game therefore has clear sporting significance, even though the league is still at the beginning of its international scheduling.

The matchup brings together two specific teams: Nuggets vs. Pacers. In its preview, The Athletic presents the game alongside questions about how to watch it. This gives you not only the reason for the international trip but also the key practical information: how you can watch the game.

For you as a basketball fan, this is an event with two dimensions. On the one hand, it is the direct matchup between the Nuggets and Pacers. On the other, you will experience the international opening of the 2026/27 regular season – the NBA is staging the season at a venue outside its home territory for the first time this season.

Why the 35th NBA Game in Mexico Is Special

The number 35 shows that Mexico has become a recurring host for the NBA. It is precisely this recurring presence that distinguishes the game from a one-off special event. The league has not appeared there for the first time but, according to its own count, is returning for the 35th time.

There is not much more that can be reliably inferred from the available report. It does not specify which previous games were played at which venues or how attendance has developed. The confirmed core therefore remains deliberately straightforward: Saturday, the 35th NBA game in Mexico, Nuggets vs. Pacers.

The First International Stop of the Regular Season

The NBA game in Mexico City is also the first international stop of the 2026/27 regular season. This information is crucial for understanding the event: The host venue is outside the league's home territory, yet the game explicitly belongs to the regular season.

For you, this means you can classify the game as part of the regular season, rather than as a purely preseason or training event. At the same time, the matchup marks the international opening of the season. It is precisely this combination that makes the date equally relevant to NBA fans and viewers in Mexico.

Nuggets vs. Pacers: The Confirmed Centerpiece of the Evening

At the center is the matchup Nuggets vs. Pacers. The pairing determines the sporting focus of the evening, while Mexico City provides the special setting. Both aspects belong together: It is a regular NBA game between two specifically named teams and also the first international stop of the season.

The available source information contains no reliable prediction about lineups, form or the outcome of the game. It would be irresponsible to name a favorite in advance or place more emphasis on the matchup than the source supports. What is certain is: The Nuggets are playing the Pacers in Mexico City.

What the Broadcasting Guide Needs to Provide

For game day, The Athletic explicitly announces information on how you can watch the game. However, the provided excerpt names neither a specific broadcaster nor a streaming platform or an exact time. These details therefore cannot be reliably included in the article.

Practically, this means The Athletic's guide is the most direct route to the broadcasting information. You will find the organizational details there instead of having to reconstruct them from a general reminder. If you want to watch the date, check those details in good time – especially because the game takes place during the first international stop of the 2026/27 regular season.

Conclusion: An NBA Game with an International Milestone

The NBA game in Mexico City brings together three clearly documented factors: the 35th NBA game in Mexico, the matchup Nuggets vs. Pacers and the first international stop of the 2026/27 regular season. On Saturday, it is not just a game being played but also an international milestone of the season being marked.

For fans, the reference to the broadcast is practically the most important part. The names of the teams and the special role of the venue are clear. By contrast, the channel, time and other broadcasting details are not included in the available source information. It is therefore worth taking a look at The Athletic's full guide before planning your evening.
