A foal with zebra stripes, right in the middle of Brandenburg: the young animal has sparked a small hype — and has now been sold to Dubai for €75,000. That's according to Stern.
You don't see a horse like that often.
What makes the foal so special?
The young animal from Brandenburg stands out with a distinctive coat pattern. The markings are reminiscent of a zebra look — an appearance that's extremely rare in horses. It's precisely this rarity that triggered the hype, generating attention well beyond the region and ultimately drawing buyers from abroad.
€75,000 and a buyer in Dubai
The excitement is reflected in the price: the foal changed hands for €75,000. The new owner is reportedly based in Dubai. For a regional young horse alone, that's a remarkable price — and a sign of how sought-after visually exceptional animals are on the international market. Whether the animal will find a new home in Dubai as a show horse, a breeding animal, or a private passion piece, the report leaves open.
