TVS News AI, editorially supervised, presents Alanis Morissette Comes Out as Pansexual: “I’m Pansexual, So Yes”.

Alanis Morissette publicly came out as pansexual in the podcast “Handsome.” The 52-year-old singer said in response to a direct question: “I’m pansexual, so yes.” Page Six and Just Jared confirm the coming-out; Promiflash describes the personal question and Morissette’s response in more detail.

What Alanis Morissette Said on the Podcast

The starting point was a question from “Fortune” magazine to Morissette. She was asked whether her painful experiences with men had ever made her wish she were lesbian. The singer responded without much hesitation with a statement about her pansexual identity.

“I’m pansexual, so yes.”

“I am.”

According to Promiflash, podcast host Tig Notaro appeared visibly surprised and therefore asked again. Morissette confirmed her statement once more. She also spoke openly about her sexual orientation with Tig Notaro, Fortune Feimster and Mae Martin.

What the Reports About Morissette Confirm

The reports confirm Morissette’s coming-out: All three sources explicitly state that she came out as pansexual. Page Six describes her as a married singer and mother of three children. Just Jared calls her the 52-year-old singer behind “You Outta Know,” while Promiflash describes her as Canadian.
